Privacy Notice

Last updated September 30, 2026

This website is operated by OneTwoThree Media. Throughout this notice, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to OneTwoThree Media LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you use this website. We are an international film sales and distribution company. We represent independent feature films and television series to distributors, broadcasters and platforms worldwide, and present our catalog to buyers at film markets and through this website.

If you have any questions, contact us at[email protected].

Summary

  • We collect only what you send us. Two forms — Contact, and Request a Screener — and nothing else asks you for anything.
  • No accounts, no payments, no advertising. There is nothing to register for, nothing is sold, and we run no advertising or profiling of any kind.
  • We set no cookies of our own, and our analytics uses none. Trailers are hosted by Vimeo, which does — so we ask before any video loads.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information, and never have.
  • You can ask us what we hold, and to correct or delete it, wherever you live — not only where a law requires it.

1. What information do we collect?

Information you give us

Our two forms collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company or organization name
  • Territory or region of interest (screener requests only)
  • Whatever you choose to write in the message field

We do not ask for a phone number, a postal address, a job title, a password or any payment details, and there is no way to upload a file or post anything to this site.

Sensitive information. We do not ask for and do not want special-category data — health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, biometric or genetic data, or government identity documents. Please do not send it.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our host and our analytics record:

  • Pages viewed, and the page or search that referred you
  • Approximate location, at country level, inferred from your IP address
  • Browser and device type — for example whether you are on a phone or a desktop
  • Page loading times
  • Your IP address, used by our host to deliver the site and to check whether a form submission is automated

This is not precise location. We do not use GPS, we never ask your browser or device for location access, and we cannot tell where you are beyond the country.

2. How do we process your information?

  • To respond to enquiries and film submissions. We use what you send through the contact and screener forms to reply to you, and — where a film has been submitted — to consider whether it fits our current sales lineup.
  • To send screeners to prospective buyers. We use the details on a screener request to send the viewing link and to follow up about licensing the title.
  • To send catalog and market announcements to business contacts who have requested screeners. See section 13.
  • To protect the site from spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To understand which titles and pages draw interest, so we can improve the site.

We do not profile you, we make no automated decisions about you, and we do not use your information to target advertising.

3. What legal bases do we rely on?

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR requires us to name the lawful basis for each use.

  • Legitimate interests — replying to people who have deliberately contacted us; evaluating films offered to us for representation; fulfilling a screener request and pursuing a possible licensing agreement; keeping the site secure; understanding how the site is used; and sending catalog announcements to business contacts, subject to your right to object at any time.
  • Legal obligations — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law, or to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not rely on consent for anything on this website, and we do not rely on performance of a contract — you have no contract with us by using this site.

4. When and with whom do we share your information?

We have never sold or shared personal information, and we do not. We use a small number of service providers, each under a written data processing agreement:

  • Cloudflare — hosts this site, provides the anti-spam check on our forms, and provides our analytics
  • Resend — delivers form submissions to us as email
  • Google Workspace — where that email is received and stored
  • MailerLite — sends our catalog and market announcements

Vimeo is different, and worth explaining. Our trailers are hosted by Vimeo. When a video loads, your browser connects to Vimeo directly, and Vimeo receives your IP address and sets its own cookies — including ones that measure playback — as an independent company under its own privacy policy. That information never passes through us, and we cannot see it. Nothing is sent to Vimeo until you have pressed play on a trailer and accepted.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or in connection with a merger, sale or acquisition of our business.

5. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We set no cookies of our own.

Our analytics provider, Cloudflare, states that Cloudflare Web Analytics“does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage, to collect usage metrics” and that they “don’t ‘fingerprint’ individuals via their IP address, User Agent string, or any other data”. Query strings are not recorded. Data is kept in detail for seven days and then aggregated.

The exception is the video player, and it is why the player asks before it plays.Vimeo sets its own cookies, including ones that count plays for their reporting. So no Vimeo player loads until you have chosen: the first time you press play on a trailer, the player asks — accept and trailers play normally; decline and they stay as still images, and pressing play again asks again if you change your mind. Your choice is remembered in your own browser and sent nowhere.

We use no advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no social media plugins and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

6. Is your information transferred internationally?

Yes. We are a United States company, our providers are United States companies, and our servers are in the United States. If you write to us from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, your information travels to the United States.

Those transfers are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, which are part of our agreements with Cloudflare, Google, Resend and MailerLite. Details can be provided on request.

7. How long do we keep your information?

Form submissions arrive as email and are kept as business correspondence for as long as the enquiry remains commercially relevant. We review correspondence periodically and delete what is no longer needed.

Analytics data is held by Cloudflare in aggregated form and contains nothing that identifies you.

8. How do we keep your information safe?

The site is served over HTTPS. Beyond that, two things are worth stating plainly because they were deliberate design decisions:

  • Our forms cannot be used to send mail to anyone else. The destination address is fixed in server configuration, so the form cannot be turned into a relay.
  • We do not accept file uploads. Screeners and documents are exchanged by reply, with a person at both ends, rather than by anonymous upload.

An automated check runs on both forms to block spam. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise that determined attackers will never defeat our safeguards.

9. Do we collect information from minors?

No. This site is aimed at film industry professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to[email protected] and we will delete it.

10. What are your privacy rights?

We honor these requests from anyone, anywhere — not only where a law obliges us to. Our data footprint is small enough that there is no reason to check your residency first.

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Object to how we are using it, including for our announcements
  • Ask us to restrict how we use it
  • Complain to a regulator

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]or use the contact form. We may need to confirm your identity before we act.

There is no intermediary. Requests reach us directly in the United States and are handled by the people who run the company — not an agent, a portal or a ticketing system. We aim to answer within a few days and, at the outside, within one month.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland and you believe we have handled your information unlawfully, you may complain to us first, and you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK, theInformation Commissioner’s Office; in Switzerland, theFederal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. We will acknowledge a complaint within 30 days and explain the outcome.

11. Do-not-track signals

There is still no agreed standard for browser do-not-track signals, and we do not respond to them. We run no tracking of our own to switch off, and the one third party that does — Vimeo — is held back until you answer the question in the player, which is a clearer choice than a signal nobody has agreed how to read.

12. United States residents

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah or Virginia, you have rights over your personal information. We extend the same rights to everyone — see section 10.

In the past twelve months we collected these categories, all of it from you directly:

Appeals. If we refuse a request, you may appeal by emailing[email protected]. We will explain our decision in writing. If we refuse again, you may complain to your state attorney general.

California “Shine the Light”. California residents may ask once a year whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not, and never have.

13. Mailing list and marketing

Addresses submitted through this website are used to reply to you and to continue the business discussion your enquiry begins. We may also add business contacts who request screeners to our catalog and market announcements. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Addresses sent through the contact form are not added to any mailing list.

14. Do not send sensitive information

Please do not send sensitive personal information — such as health, financial or identity document details — through our forms. We do not ask for it and we have no need for it.

15. Do we make updates to this notice?
