David works alone manning a space station with only the hologram Dr. Marks for company. He converses with his agent Christopher via satellite screen and appears to have chosen this lonely life after trauma suffered on earth. His existence is solitary, until one day a woman arrives, Felice. She has been sent to be his companion and slowly but surely the two struggle through connection, and then finally to romance. Nevertheless, not all is what it seems, and Dr. Marks knows more than she is letting on. After a near fatal accident, the two discover that David has more to him that meets the eye. Disturbed, Felice begins to question her own nature. However, Dr. Marks, and Earth, have plans for both of them, bigger than they could ever conceive, but conceive they will….
