Arthur Campbell is considered one of Europe’s best virologists, a specialist when it comes to discovering and fighting new and potentially dangerous viruses. A major Swiss pharmaceutical company hires him to create a universal vaccine that can stop known and unknown viruses from attacking the human body. To accomplish this, he has 24 months to create an especially aggressive virus in his lab that unites several specific characteristics of known viruses and to fight and destroy it with a universal vaccine.
